Luvable Pupdate Time! Rosemary arrived at Luvable thanks to transport from A New Leash On Life Pet Rescue and Transport. She was adopted three months later by the perfect family:
“We are so happy that you helped us find Rosie (formally known as Rosemary)! She has been the perfect addition to our family. Rosie and Rex (our other adopted pup) get along wonderfully; they are inseparable! They play together, go on walks together and have even learned how to take turns playing with their toys and chewing on bones. Rosie’s personality has really blossomed over the last few months and she really loves to play fetch with balls and her stuffed squeaky squirrell. She is very loving (loves to lick everyone, especially Rex and Dad) and is always happy and excited to play. We enrolled both Rex and Rosie in training classes at PetSmart and its going great and she should be graduating from the intermediate training class next weekend. Thank you so much for saving Rosie and helping us bring her home! We absolutely love her and so does Rex! Attached are a bunch of photos of Rosie and family and it was so hard to narrow it down to only these pictures. Thank you again”

Luvable Pupdate Time!! Out first Pupdate from our New Years Eve Crumpet babies!!! Crumpet was transported to Luvable thanks to S.T.A.R.T Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team. Shortly after arriving, we learned that she was pregnant and on New Years Eve, the New Moon Babies arrived.
“Zen (aka Qamar) is doing great at our house! He loves to run around and hide underneath the couches. Zen makes very odd noises when he is playing with his toys. He learns to play by himself which keeps him busy when we are not around! Mocha has the occasional back off signs, but overall she is warming up to him pretty nicely! They love to play ball together. Mocha makes a good role model for Zen and he tries his best to do exactly what she does. He follows her around all the time, a little too much. He’s also learned how to ring the bell when he has to go potty! He is very exciting to have and everyday we learn something new about him!”

Venti was one of our beautiful Starbuck’s babies. They were transported here from Porterville thanks to A New Leash On Life Pet Rescue and Transport . According to his furever family: “Buster has become a character! He and Lucy are really close. Lucy is almost two and we got her from Luvable as well. We lost our oldest dog Rocky recently. He was 15. Buster is a great dog and really loved.”

She loves cuddles and walks. She just went on her first camping trip and did great. We love her sooooo much! This is her furever home!!””

She is a total mamas girl, and loves to snuggle. She has fit into our family and active lifestyle seamlessly. She learns really quick and enjoys being outdoors. She’s been out on runs, hiking and even wine tasting. She is such a loving dog. We are so lucky we found her and Luvable Dog Rescue. Thank you for choosing us to be her family.”💚💚💚💚

Luvable Pupdate Time!! Do you guys remember our Little Mermaid Litter? “Peanut Butter, formerly known as Flounder, is a lover of food, people, dogs, and cats. He is gentle enough to have met our 8 month niece without worry and rough enough to handle his own against his new sister, Ami (catahoula mix). He’s slowly becoming a local celebrity, when we walk or go to the dog park people know him by name and he loves and is loved by everyone he meets. He has conquered all his fears, but the car. He willingly gets in, but he still does not enjoy it (although he halfway rested his head out the window once). We sometimes think he’s part goblin with the noises he makes when he’s excited, and that is often. He is so wonderful and we are so grateful for the people who raised him the first part of his life and can’t believe our life without him.”

Luvable Pupdate Time! Kung Pao was part of our Chinese Take put litter and was adopted in November!
“Kung Pao aka Kali is settling in! She is having a blast and her big brother Leroy is her best friend! They hide under the covers at night pretending we don’t see them so they don’t have to sleep in their own beds
😉 We love her and the kids adore her although she now weighs as much as them and hasn’t fully agreed to mind her manners and jumps up to kiss them! Kali spends a good amount of time in our spacious backyard with her brother Leroy now that it’s nice out, running and playing and napping in the sun!”💚💚💚

Luvable Pupdate Time!!! Spoon arrived at Luvable thanks to S.T.A.R.T Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team. She was adopted by a wonderful family with two other rescues including a Luvable Alum!!
“We are so happy to welcome Spoon into our family and into her new pack (Marley, a Brightside rescue and Taffy, another Luvable alum). She quickly became our teenage daughter’s best friend and she’s a wonderful companion. She is so full of joy and energy! She is much younger than we thought and spent the first week learning about potty training, that baskets aren’t for chewing, and that she isn’t allowed to walk on tables and countertops. She’s a quick learner and fits right in. She is just a bundle of love who wants to cuddle and play all day with toys, dogs, and her humans. We can’t remember life without her!” (The cartoon character “Spoon” was drawn by her 14 year old best friend Leila!!!)

Luvable Pupdate Time! Phoenix arrived at Luvable in January thanks to transport from A New Leash On Life Pet Rescue and Transport! He was adopted in March and seems to have found the perfect forever home! “Just wanted to let you know that Oliver (Phoenix) is doing well. He gets along with the cats. We go on walks most days which we both enjoy. I’m so glad to have Ollie in my life!”💚💚💚

Luvable Pupdate Time! Dolly was the mom to our Country Star litter and was transported by A New Leash On Life Pet Rescue and Transport She was an amazing mama and got the home complete with Luv, that she deserved: “Life is busy with my furry friend!

Luvable Pupdate Time! Wren and Raven arrived at Luvable in April 2017 as a bonded pair. They were lucky enough to be adopted together in March! And it sounds like the wait was worth it: “They are wonderful, we love them to pieces! Raven is the more animated of the 2. She’ll break into these bursts of energy where she whirls around the living room teasing Wren to play. Raven also is very vocal, lots of little grunts and other noises. She cracks us up. Wren is more stoic…except when she is alerted to any of the critters that live around us like deer or other dogs. She is really quite vigilant in that regard. Again, we feel very fortunate to be able to adopt them. We can’t believe they lasted so long at your place!”💚💚💚

Every night, both dogs run through one end of the house to the other. Every night, right before bed time! We let them run for 3 or 4 minutes, then they go to bed by themselves.
Since our business is a dogtreat company, the 2 little boys have learned tricks REAL fast with the help of our treats: they sit, shake, high 5, spin and all 3 of them shake hands together. Any other treats given by other people get ignored, they know where the good stuff is😁.
Alltogether, we can not imagine our life without them any more. To this day, I get goosebumps when I think of how we got the dogs – so fast, so efficient. And it was meant to be. I have recommended Luvable to many people and will continue to do so.

😉. Mushu is not much of a cuddling dog, more of an exploring, mischievous attitude. Him and our older dog get along super well. They like to play together, ruff house with each other, while Chewy sits in my husband’s lap and watches them play in the mud! At first, both dogs loved to chase our free range chickens. They got a hold of a few, but luckily looked for our approval before the final snap. They no longer do that, much to my delight. When I go outside and take care of our other animals, Mushu is right by my side. He walks in the midst of 50 chickens and ducks, without any corrections from me. We recently obtained 2 baby goats, and the 2 dogs with the 2 goats are hilarious to watch.
